Contact Legion Termite Control
Legion Termite Control responds to reports of termite activity by inspecting wood members, soil contact points and potential entry points. Technicians identify whether subterranean termites or drywood species are present and select monitoring stations or liquid barriers accordingly.
Details to Prepare for the Call
- A description of any visible mud tubes along baseboards or foundation walls and when they first appeared.
- Information about tapping sounds in wood or signs of carpenter ants trailing toward the structure.
- Any history of wood-boring beetle damage or previous attempts to treat with baits or barriers.
- Observations of moisture accumulation near piers or under crawl spaces that may attract termites.
Precautions to Observe Until Inspection
- Refrain from spraying any products or removing sections of damaged wood until our technicians assess the situation for proper treatment planning.
- Observe and note any increase in frass or new tube construction while avoiding direct contact with the affected wood members.
- Check that access points to attics and crawl spaces remain clear for technicians while staying out of those spaces yourself.
What Occurs Following the Initial Call
After the call Legion Termite Control schedules an inspection where technicians check for termite species by examining wood for galleries, testing moisture levels and looking for active workers or soldiers. They then discuss whether bait systems, liquid barriers or other methods suit the conditions found.
